The Uptown Swing Band is a Toronto based 10-piece âLittle Big Bandâ whose repertoire celebrates the best swing music from three decades. With both male and female vocalists to draw upon, the Uptown Swing Band faithfully recreates favourites from the swing-era 40s, jump music from the fabulous 50s, and Rat Pack performances from the swinginâ 60s, plus a few Ballroom Classics in every memorable show.
The Uptown Swing Band never fails to coax their audiences onto the dance floor â and keep them there all night! Weekly rehearsals, regular club gigs and numerous concerts, dances and corporate functions keep the band busy and swinging to the max.
