The Solid Rock Sound Machine is a husband and wife team, Andrew (Drew) and Karen Walker, who have been married 24 years. They have been providing musical entertainment in the Topeka, Kansas area for over 20 years and will travel within a 200 mile radius of Topeka. Drew and Karen work together with you to create an event that reflects your unique personality and values. They accomplish this through planning sessions to establish what kind of music and activities you want to include in your event. They only book one event per day in order to give their clients the best possible service. The Solid Rock Sound Machine Mobile Entertainment Company specializes in using Positive Mainstream music and Today's Christian Music to keep a positive slant on any event. This means they avoid some "popular" artists and songs. WHY? Because, they don't want to bring your party down with negative lyrics about drug abuse, alcohol abuse, sex and violence. Using Philippians 4:8 as a guide, they can do an entire event with Positive Mainstream (both pop and country), including music from the 1940's to current music. Drew & Karen can combine Positive Mainstream with as much Christian music as their client requests. The focus of the Solid Rock Sound Machine is on the client's needs. They want you to be a guest at your own event and will do everything possible to make that happen. Drew is also a trained professional bridal consultant, which means he will bring fresh ideas into the reception planning sessions they have with you. He can also be a resource for other parts of your wedding day planning.
