Photography can be one of the most confusing and elusive items on the list when planning a wedding. Not only are there a billion photographers to choose from, but they all offer different things, have different styles, and different personalities. How do you narrow it all down? My goal is to make things as simple as possible, often advising couples to meet with me first before they meet with other photographers. Choosing your wedding photographer is one of the most, if not the most important vendor on your list. Why? Because we capture the actual essence of the day. Since its invention, still photography has always been, and will always be one of the most powerful art-forms when it comes to capturing your memories. Understanding this, I desire you to find exactly the right person for the job. By having your initial consult with me I will help you with three very important things to ensure your selection process goes smoothly. First, I will go over and answer based on my services a complete list of questions to ask a potential photographer so you can be a photographically informed couple. It will help you compare what each person offers and how well they plan on taking care of you as their client. Second, I will help you create a general foundation for your timeline based on your desires to help you understand where and how the photography fits into the event. This is a tremendous help to many couples who are setting the basic structure of the day and need a place to start. Third, I will help you determine if we are the right fit. I want to have a positive connection with my clients. If it isn’t there, I truly want you to find the right match. Your photographer is with you during your entire day, from the dressing room to the after-after party. Make sure you like the person.
