The grounds and buildings of Elm Bank, home of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, are the ideal setting for celebrating weddings, birthdays or other special events or for holding corporate events.
Located in Wellesley, Elm Bank has more than 30 acres of gardens, forests and fields as well as a collection of architectural masterpieces. One of the most elegant of these is the Hunnewell Building. Its great hall boasts nearly 3,000 sq. ft. of event space, and an attached three-season tent expands the event hall allowing your gathering of up to 250 to spill out into the Secret Garden. There are also a number of other rooms available at Elm Bank for smaller gatherings.
The garden space, which includes the historic Italianate Garden and the Bressingham Garden, is available year-around. The Rhododendron Garden provides beautiful color in the spring, while the Daylily Garden is a spectacular backdrop for summer and fall events.
Whether cocktails on the terrace of the Manor House, a wedding in the Italianate Garden, dinner and dancing in the Hunnewell Building or a small gathering in the Putham Horticulture Building, Elm Bank will meet all your event needs. |
