There is one consistent line I hear from all the brides I meet, and that is, "I don't want the same thing everyone has, I want something different!!" Believe me, I fully understand and you are right, your flowers should be different, after all you are about to marry a man that is differnt from all the others, and you are uniquely fashoined by God, not like everyone else, so why should your flowers be just like all the others. I'm so glad you think that way, because I specialize in creating a unique idea just for you. I don't like to use the books availabe out there, and I don't even own those books!
I like to make something just for you, to fit your style, your size and good heavens, you spent a lot on that dress, why should it all be covered up with a bunch of flowers? That brings me to a very important point. I'm a floral designer, but as much as I hate to admit it, the flowers are not the most important thing! Let's just face it, they look good only for a few days than they expire. So that is why I found a balance in this, and that accounts for more than 250 wedding that I've done so far. My goal is to create that unique touch in the flowers, but not have your spend a fortune on them! I decided not to open a shop. I do all my work from home and that cuts down on the overhead costs. When you really think about it, a flowers shop is nothing more than a large floral refrigerator, a van and a work space.
