Ever feel like people feel like you can't have fun just because you're a senior citizen? Ever feel like proving those people wrong? It's possible-there are lots of vendors near you that will help you plan senior events for you and your friends over sixty. One idea is to hold a dance, if you can gather a larger amount of guests. Simply book a nearby community center's ballroom and hire someone to string up strands of lights. Then bring in a live band and let the party happen-maybe a good swing band that can also play some classic standards. Or you can set up a casino party at either your local community center, or a nearby hotel ballroom. If you have the budget for it and a larger guest list, hire dealers and have multiple tables set up with lots of different games. You can print out fake money that you hand out the beginning of the night and then at the end of the night, the players have to bid for different prizes. Or, have people play with real money and donate the house's winnings to charity.
